SUSTAINABILITY IN SUPERBLOOM MERCHANDISE

Responsibly into a Greener Future

As a brand, we’re fully aware of our impact in the fight against the climate crisis. That’s why we’ve chosen a merchandise partner committed to producing sustainably.

No Overproduction Thanks to Print-on-Demand

Our partner Spreadshirt works with a print-on-demand model. Unlike traditional manufacturers, Spreadshirt only prints what customers choose or design themselves – and only after they place an order. Whether it’s a single item or a large batch, only the exact quantity is produced.

Sustainability has been part of Spreadshirt’s DNA since it was founded over 20 years ago. That’s not just good news for the planet and for us – but also for our customers: less than 2% of all products are returned, making us a leader in the industry. And even returned items get a second life through donations and recycling.

Investing in Sustainable, Eco-Friendly Production

We continuously invest in modern, environmentally friendly technologies and materials. Most recently, we upgraded to cutting-edge Kornit Atlas printers with a €10 million investment. Our standard method – direct-to-garment printing – uses sustainable inks, vegan pigments, and a process that significantly reduces water and energy usage. Since 2019, we’ve gone completely paperless in our production workflow – saving the equivalent of 767 trees every year.

Durable Products & Prints

Products made from high-quality fabrics and materials not only look great longer – they’re also more sustainable. Before adding any product to our range, we test it thoroughly. We check fabric and print durability through a series of print and wash tests. After printing, we screen for potential chemical residues, color vibrancy, and clean finishing. Even for items that have been in our range for a while, we regularly review customer feedback to ensure consistent product quality.
